Born and raised in Knocknagoshel, Co Kerry, Michelle Keane studied Fashion & Textile Design, then was awarded a post graduate scholarship from the Scottish College of Textiles in Galashields. Driven by a relentless passion for design and a keen eye for colour, she established Mibeau Interiors in 2000, and has since become one of the most celebrated names in the interior design industry.
Her portfolio of home and commercial renovations projects have made her a renowned force in the interior world, and Michelle has been the recipient of many awards, including being a finalist in the Smirnoff Young Designer of the Year Award 1994, Trinity College.
She is equally passionate about making her design ethos accessible to everyone by lecturing part-time in interior design.
Michelle is married to Keith Darcy, and together they have two children, Luke and Holly. She lives just a mile from where she was born in NorthEast Kerry. In 2018, through a series of strange and wonderful happenings, Michelle discovered seven springs of fresh water on her land.
She is now in the process of accessing this water and developing it into a brand, Kingdom Water.
She has also written a book called 'The Discovery of Kingdom Water' by: Michelle Keane which will be launched this summer.
